How to upload

Three easy steps

Create a named folder, film vertically, upload — done

1

Create a folder named after the couple

Before the event, make an album or folder on your phone using the couple's last names — e.g. Smith-Johnson Wedding. Save all your clips there as you film.

  • 1
    Open the Photos app
  • 2
Tap Albums at the bottom, then the + button (top left)
  • 3
Select New Album and name it after the couple — e.g. Smith-Johnson
  • 4
After filming, add clips to this album by tapping the share icon and choosing Add to Album
Your videos also stay in your camera roll — the album is just an easy way to group them for upload.
  • 1
Open the Google Photos app (or your default Gallery app)
  • 2
    Tap Library → New album
  • 3
Name it after the couple — e.g. Smith-Johnson
  • 4
After filming, add clips by long-pressing each video and tapping Add to album
In Google Photos you can tap the three dots in an album and share the whole album directly to Drive.
2

Film vertically throughout the event

Hold your phone upright (portrait). Capture crowd reactions, the DJ booth, dance floor highlights, lighting effects, and guest moments. Aim for 10–30 second clips.

3

Upload the whole folder to Google Drive

Open the Drive folder and upload your entire album at once — no need to select clips one by one.

  • 1
Open the Google Drive app and navigate to the shared folder
  • 2
Tap the + button → Upload → Photos and Videos
  • 3
Tap Albums, find the couple's album, tap Select All, then Upload
Stay on WiFi if you can — event videos upload much faster and won't eat your data plan.
  • 1
Open the Google Drive app and navigate to the shared folder
  • 2
Tap + → Upload and browse to your couple's album
  • 3
Long-press the first clip, tap Select all, then tap Upload
Google Photos users: open the album, tap the three dots → Save to Drive to upload the whole album in one tap.

Quick tips

Make your footage stand out

Small habits, big difference in the final edit

Stay vertical

Keep your phone upright — vertical clips work perfectly for Reels, TikTok, and Stories.

Face the lights

Position yourself so stage or venue lighting hits your subject — not your back.

Crowd energy

Hands in the air, big reactions, packed floors — these clips book the next event.

Upload on WiFi

Connect to venue WiFi before uploading to keep it fast and save your mobile data.

Thank you!

Every clip you share helps us promote you, book you more events, and show future clients what makes you different.

We genuinely appreciate the extra few minutes.
