Hector and Lindsey were absolutely fantastic, I genuinely wish I could give them 6 stars. We used them for our wedding this last week. Hector is super attentive with his pre wedding meetings and took notes of everything we discussed. He read the room perfectly and kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. Even with some last minute requests from us he made it all work flawlessly. He's also a fantastic MC for the night with announcing/introducing  speeches and such. Hector and Lindsey helped make our wedding perfect in all of the ways! Our dance floor was consistently packed thanks to them and the music choices were amazing!!! Working with Midwest Best DJ's has always been a great experience for me as a planner and for the wedding guests! Communication is very prompt and they are easy to get ahold of. They worked closely with me with our timeline and made sure the day was going to run smoothly that day. For this particular event,  I worked with Lindsey for the Photobooth and Jakub for the DJ! The whole team at Midwest Best is incredible. We got married this past weekend & my husband and I have nothing but great things to say about them! Our DJ Jakub was amazing! He was so friendly, detail oriented & most importantly kept my guests on the dance floor! Jakub played a mix of polish & american music which was exactly what we were looking for. Jakub made our night absolutely perfect & we are so grateful. We also rented our photobooth through them & Lindsey was so fun! Our guests loved her! Thank you all again! I would recommend Hector and Lindsey to anyone! They are such an amazing team that made the entire wedding planning process so easy. Hector totally understood our vibe and made sure our day went seamlessly. He did exactly what we asked and kept the dance floor PACKED the entire night. If you need a DJ - stop looking now and go with Midwest Best DJ’s. Hector and Lindsey were so great to work with from the very start. I liked being able to talk with him beforehand so he could hand pick one of his DJ’s that he thought would be best for our wedding (it happened to be Hector himself!). If I needed anything in the months leading up to the wedding Hector and Lindsey were both just an email, phone call, or text away with a great response time. The event itself was smooth and easy from the start - helpful that Hector and Lindsey had both worked at my venue before - I left pre ceremony music, cocktail hour music, and dinner time music up to Hector and he perfectly curated songs that fit our vibe based on our must play list and songs I had provided for walking down the aisle etc. I have no other words for our reception music except it kicked ass. Anyone who made their way out to the dance floor was sure to tell me how amazing our DJ was and what great music we had - again I provided a small must play list but Hector took that and ran with it and it was a total hit. The music was very important to me because I am a dancing fool (I think I only left the dance floor to change into my reception dress and use the bathroom) and Hector was sure to keep his eye on me so that none of my favorite songs were played while I was missing lol. We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Hector and Lindsey! From the very beginning, they were organized, responsive, and incredibly professional. Every step of the planning process felt easy and stress-free because we knew we were in good hands. Professionalism and organization can be hard to find in a DJ and they are truly top tier!
What stood out to us most was their kindness and genuine care for our day. During the planning phase, they took the time to really understand our vibe and what was most important to us. And on the day of the wedding, Hector and Lindsey were both checking in on us, offering to get us a drink, a snack or anything we needed.

And the dance floor? PACKED all night long. We have seriously had multiple people tell us that it was one of the most fun dance floors at a wedding theyve ever attended. The transitions between songs were seamless, the energy never dropped, and every moment felt perfectly timed. They are unbelievably talented at reading the room, mixing songs, and creating a flow that kept everyone up and dancing. The lightshow on the dancefloor was another added piece that made it even better.
Beyond the music, they helped keep the entire day running smoothly. From the cocktail hour where they reminded guests to grab their placecards, to the very end, they brought a calm and joyful presence that allowed us to truly party and enjoy every moment.
We’re so grateful to have had such amazing people as part of our day. Thank you for sharing your talent to make our day so unforgettable.
